Soft Blooms of Self-Love: Ladies Paint Night was created from that very idea: a space where women can reconnect with themselves through creativity, reflection, and the calming beauty of nature. The experience curator is Credell Simeon, owner and artist of csCreatives.
There is something deeply healing about flowers. Their petals bloom gently, without force. Flowers grow toward light naturally. They remind us that softness is not weakness — it is part of becoming. After a prolonged winter season in Regina, and what is shaping up to be a very unpredictable Spring season, the mood and vibe of women in the Queen city needs a boost. Notably, women, and especially visible minorities from tropical climates actually need the beauty of nature to feel better about themselves.
In the middle of busy schedules, emotional responsibilities, and constant movement, many women rarely pause long enough to ask themselves a simple question: When was the last time I truly poured into myself?
This event is an invitation to do exactly that. The pouring is inspired by the softness of blooms which flows into self-love.
Hosted in Regina at Pumpjacks Cathedral, the evening blends painting, floral-inspired creativity, soft music, and meaningful connection into a calming experience rooted in self-love and emotional renewal.

The Healing Power of Nature and Art
Nature has always been one of the most grounding forms of inspiration. Flowers, gardens, sunlight, soft colors, and organic textures all have a way of slowing the mind and softening the spirit.
The artwork featured during the evening reflects that connection; specifically, guests unwind and paint a heart of self-love surrounded by soft blooms. Furthermore, the floral-inspired imagery symbolizes growth, gentleness, healing, and emotional renewal.
Self-Love as a Practice, Not a Trend
Self-love often emerges as a luxury or indulgence, but in reality, it restores us and finds roots in nature. Many aspects of flowers resonate powerfully with self-love.
Flowers connect with moments of joy.
They bring softness allowing guests to feel softness in a world that often celebrates exhaustion and burn out.
Petals deserve care. They are a reminder that humans also need to take time for self-care as an integral part of self-love.
Soft Blooms of Self-Love creates a warm, welcoming, and emotionally uplifting atmosphere. Whether attendees arrive alone or with friends, the goal ensures that every woman leaves feeling lighter, inspired, and more connected to herself. Ultimately, welcome to the soft life and the soft girl era.

The evening offers:
- guided acrylic painting, 12 x 12 round canvas with heart-shape
- relaxing music,
- Refreshments,
- conversation and connection,
- and a beautiful atmosphere centered around creativity and calm.
You don’t need painting experience — you only need a willingness to show up for yourself.
Why Creative Spaces Matter
Creative events in Regina and across Canada are becoming more important because people are searching for experiences that feel meaningful rather than performative.
Art has the power to bring people back to themselves. It allows emotions to move freely without needing explanation. Combined with the calming symbolism of flowers and nature, experiences like this become more than entertainment — they become emotional reset spaces.
For women especially, spaces that encourage softness, reflection, vulnerability, and creativity can feel incredibly powerful.
A Night to Bloom
At its heart, Soft Blooms of Self-Love is about giving yourself permission:
- permission to slow down,
- permission to create imperfectly,
- permission to reconnect with beauty,
- and permission to bloom gently in your own time.
Because like flowers, healing and growth do not happen overnight.
They happen softly. You are invited to bloom like a flower into your best self.
