Have you ever fantasized about love? As a writer I find myself daydreaming about love and how it often conflicts with my present reality. Take a read of my poem entitled “Fantasy vs. Reality”.
People always say that when you are in love, you feel happy and you want it to last forever. I have been thinking about that a lot, and what truly defines happiness when you are in love. I wrote this poem entitled “Love and Happiness” to describe the euphoric feeling.
Have you ever thought that you would do anything for love, once you find it, you will be ready to go around the world and even to the moon and back. I wrote this poem entitled “For Love”, would you be the one?
Lips are one of the most sensual parts of our body. What is the connection between lips and love really? I am intrigued by how our physical body serve as a conduit in which we can express love truly. I capture this sentiment in my poem entitled “Lips and Love”.
I cannot talk about love without emphasizing self-love. This has been a growing theme everywhere especially on social media. Self-love is foundational to believing in your-self, feeling confident, and having a positive mindset. I hope my poem entitled “Extraordinary You” helps you on your journey to finding your artistic voice.

The Covid-19 pandemic bought a pause to Carnival activities, including Grenada Spicemas and Caribana in Toronto, putting us in an intense state of longing for the return of Carnival. I penned this poem during the height of the outbreak of Omicron variant as an anticipation for the long awaited feeling and excitement that Carnival brings to the Caribbean and its diasporas, and by extent the world.
What makes the perfect the Carnival love story? I would say there must be two leading characters madly in love, dressed exotically and colorfully, against a scene of festivity and music.
When Carnival comes around we all feel good: good vibes, energy and party mood.
Two best friends in any party: Soca and rum are the perfect company. Have a read of the poem to understand more about this unique friendship.
Jab King, a true king that rules on Jouvert morning, especially in the island of 100,000 jab jabs, Grenada. Read more about the empowering image of the king of Jouvert in the poem entitled “Dignified Jab King”.
