One of my favourite moments during a glass-painting experience is seeing all the finished pieces together.
Everyone may have started with similar materials.
Yet somehow, no two bottles are exactly alike.
One woman chooses bright tropical colours. Another prefers something subtle. Someone adds flowers. Someone experiments with texture. Someone adds lights and watches the entire piece change when it begins to glow.
The differences are what make the collection beautiful.
The same could be said about the women standing behind them.
Our individuality doesn’t weaken a community.
It makes the community more interesting.
From Empty Bottle to Something Worth Keeping
There is a quiet message inside the transformation of discarded glass.
An object can outgrow the purpose originally assigned to it.
It can enter another chapter.
It can become something unexpected.
Women understand reinvention, too.
