Credell Simeon stands out as an independent Black Canadian interdisciplinary artist and data scientist thriving in Regina, Canada. Her career is powerfully influenced by her Caribbean roots on the vibrant island of Grenada, coupled with her impactful experiences in Canada. She exudes confidence, intelligence, wit, and charisma.
As an artist, Credell is a bold and innovative poet and contemporary visual artist, making her mark professionally since 2023. Her stunning visual artwork is crafted on recycled glass bottles, exemplifying her strong commitment to sustainability and visual storytelling. Drawn to the fragility and transparency of glass, she uses it as a dynamic canvas to capture and convey rich, vibrant narratives. Her paintings on glass offer a unique opportunity to see and experience the artistic world from a fresh perspective. Each masterpiece Credell creates provokes conversation and challenges viewers to think deeply.
Credell’s Creative Inspiration and Upbringing

Growing up, Credell was profoundly inspired by her father. He was a remarkable small business owner who poured his heart into painting and spray-finishing vehicles. Credell’s father didn’t merely paint cars—he breathed new life into them. He restored damaged vehicles and shaped them into breathtaking road-ready masterpieces. He passionately demonstrated to Credell how creativity, skill, and vision could revive the broken. They could transform them into something not just beautiful, but truly valuable. His devoted customer base and flourishing business served as her earliest lessons in entrepreneurship. They also provided fervent lessons in problem-solving and the magnificent art of transformation.
Watching her father “fix” anything with dedication and precision ignited the spark for Credell’s creative journey. As she forged her path as an artist, she confidently chose to pursue more sustainable and eco-conscious methods. She skillfully moved away from industrial paints to embrace environmentally responsible materials. She particularly favored glass, whose smooth texture evokes the transformative surfaces of her childhood.
Today, Credell Simeon commands attention with her vibrant, bold painting style on recyclable glass—art that powerfully celebrates colour, emotion, and renewal. Her work epitomizes her feminine strength. It shows her passion for expressive colour palettes. She has an unwavering belief that art is meant to uplift, inspire, and redefine what’s possible.
She describes her artistic philosophy as a touch of “Euphoria”—the joy of making things beautiful, meaningful, and full of life.

Credell Simeon is an Eco Artist
Credell’s connection to sustainability and eco-art began during her early years living on an island. As a result, she developed a deep love for nature and the environment. She planted seeds, grew plants, and watched her family rear goats. Through these experiences, she learned farm-to-table living and reuse practices. She repurposed plastic bottles for water and storage. She also sewed her own clothing and had creative fun with cardboard.
After migrating to Canada, Credell expanded her commitment to sustainability through everyday lifestyle choices. She actively embraces thrifting, upcycling, and backyard gardening. In addition, she writes for non-profit organizations, contributing to monthly newsletters that highlight sustainability initiatives and celebrate the work of eco-artists. Furthermore, Credell hosts eco-art workshops that help people to creatively engage with sustainability.
